Authorities have reopened Magrath Darby Boulevard in Mount Pleasant after a vehicle fire prompted its closure earlier Friday afternoon, the police said.
Around 1 p.m., the Mount Pleasant Police Department urged motorists to avoid the road because of the blaze near Coleman Boulevard.
The road runs between Johnnie Dodds and Coleman boulevards.
No injuries were immediately reported.
Officers said around 2 p.m. that traffic was flowing again.
