Goose Creek police have identified the man they arrested after a gunshot sent patrons of a Goose Creek bowling alley running outside Tuesday afternoon.
Gary Curtis Fraley, 47, of Balbriggan Drive in Goose Creek was taken into custody after SWAT team members used a Taser on him, police Capt. John Grainger said Wednesday.
Fraley is being charged with attempted murder and kidnapping, and more charges are likely as the investigation continues, Grainger said.
Police were called to Royal Lanes at 106 Central Ave. about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to check a report of gunshots inside, according to the incident report.
Witnesses said they heard a single gunshot and an argument inside an office. Nobody was hit by the bullet, police said.
The report identified the victim as Steven Tsafos, the owner of the bowling alley. He was outside when police arrived, and Fraley was still inside the office with a gun, according to the report.
Fraley's wife is the manager of the bowling alley, according to the report. She was also outside when police arrived.
