SAVANNAH - The Charleston RiverDogs and the Savannah Sand Gnats were scheduled for a doubleheader on Monday at Historic Grayson Stadium, but the games were postponed due to rain. This four-game series will be compressed into two days, with Savannah hosting a pair of doubleheaders, starting on Tuesday at 5:35 p.m. and Wednesday at 5:05 p.m.
Both doubleheaders will consist of two seven-inning games.
Charleston starts an eight-game road trip with the Tuesday doubleheader. RHP Andy Beresford (1-0, 4.26 ERA) and LHP Justin Kamplain (0-0, 0.00) will start for Charleston. The Sand Gnats have not officially announced their starters.
The next RiverDogs homestand begins on Aug. 11 against the Hickory Crawdads and continues through Aug. 17 against the Rome Braves.
