North Charleston narcotics officers said they discovered a meth lab in a house in Wescott Plantation and arrested three people Tuesday afternoon.
Officers executed a search warrant at 4805 Habersham Lane shortly after noon, spokesman Spencer Pryor said. A man inside the house told officers he and two women were preparing to cook meth, Pryor said.
Officers said they seized "a large quantity" of pseudoephedrine, "a large quantity" of prescription pills, and 1.1 grams of finished methamphetamine. They didn't immediately release exact figures of the drugs seized.
Wendy Marie Mcallister, 46, , who lived at the house, was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, unlawful disposal of meth waste and unlawful conduct toward a child.
Michael L. Foiles, 40, of Labrador Drive in Ladson was charged with two counts of possession of a schedule III controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV substance, possession of meth, manufacturing meth and unlawful possession of prescription medication.
Stacy R. Hall, 30, of Ashwood Drive in Summerville was charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule II controlled substance.
