A flash flood watch remains in effect until 4 p.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
The watch covers Charleston, Dorchester and Berkeley counties.
Forecasters expect several showers and thunderstorms throughout the day and more possible flooding.
Four to eight inches of rain fell in areas of the tri-county Thursday.
The rain is expected to continue throughout the weekend.
There's a 60 percent chance of rain Saturday and a 70 percent Sunday.
High temperatures are expected to remain in the low 80s.
