Trips to Florida State, Virginia Tech and Michigan State, along with a 14-game home slate, highlight The Citadel's 2014-15 basketball schedule, released Wednesday.
The Bulldogs will open the season at the All-Military Classic at West Point, along with Army, Air Force and VMI, and will play at rival College of Charleston on Dec. 2.
The home slate includes games with non-conference foes Navy and Bethune-Cookman as well as Southern Conference foes. In November, the Bulldogs will play three non-Division I foes at home: Toccoa Falls, Bob Jones University and Warren Wilson.
New SoCon foes set to visit McAlister Field House include Mercer (Feb. 5), VMI (Feb. 14) and East Tennessee State (Feb. 26).
Home night games will start at 6 p.m. this season in order to give cadets a better chance to come to the games before 8 p.m. study hall, coach Chuck Driesell said.
The SoCon Tournament is set for March 6-9 in Asheville, N.C.
