In the summertime along the coast, rarely does a day go by without there being a good chance of pop-up thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Highs will be in the lower 90s, except near the coast, where the highs will be in the upper 80s. Winds will be from the southwest at 10 to 15 mph. The chance of rain today is 50 percent.
Tonight should be mostly clear with lows in the mid 70s and southwest winds at 10 to 15 mph. The chance of rain tonight is 10 percent.
Sunday is going to be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid 90s and heat index readings up to 108. Winds will be from the southwest at 15 to 20 mph. The chance of rain Sunday is 10 percent.
Sunday night is forecast to be partly cloudy, with lows in the upper 70s and southwest winds at 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. The heat index reading will be up to 105 in the early evening.
