A hot weekend is ahead for the Lowcountry, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service.
Temperatures on Saturday are expected to reach 92 with a heat index of 101 degrees.
There is a chance of rain Friday afternoon before it clears up for Saturday.
Sunday will also be hot in the low 90s with clear skies.
There's a 50 percent chance of showers Monday. The rain is expected to cool temperatures a bit with highs likely around 87 Tuesday.
