A group of men walking along a Charleston street with guns early Tuesday morning led to four being arrested on weapons charges, according to police.
A citizen reported men with guns walking along Norman Street about 1 a.m. Tuesday, police spokesman Charles Francis said.
An officer arrived to see a white Toyota Camry pulling away from the curb. The officer stopped the car, and six men inside jumped out and ran. Officers caught and arrested four of them.
Lamar Scott Brisbane, 20, of Terry Drive in North Charleston; Dontez Alonzo Wright, 25, of Linda Street in North Charleston; Aldean Cordrell Alonza Wright, 23, of April Circle in North Charleston; and De'von Jenkins, 20, of King Street were all charged with two counts of unlawful carrying of a handgun and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
They were all being held in the Charleston County jail on $250,000 bail Wednesday.
