State Sen. Vincent Sheheen, the Democratic candidate for governor, said he has a plan to repair South Carolina's roads that involves a $500 million fund that lawmakers would replenish annually, according to a story posted at The State's website.
Sheheen, (D-Camden), said raising the state's gasoline tax is not part of his plan. He made the remarks during an exclusive interview with The State Monday night. He was to release details of his roads plan today, the story said.
