North Charleston community members will gather in August to celebrate a night out against crime.
The event will take place at Park Circle and will include free food and games, according to a flier released by North Charleston police.
National Night Out is enjoyed by more than 37 million people worldwide and unites communities to take a stand against crime, the flier said.
The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 5.
