Thinking of having grilled shrimp flatbread with bone marrow, manchego, arugula and lardons for lunch tomorrow? You're in luck: Union Provisions is finally opening for business.

After conducting a very public staff training period -- a function of its King Street-facing front windows and social media leaks -- Union Provisions tomorrow will assume its standard 11 a.m.-2 a.m. daily schedule. In addition to the flatbread, executive chef Shane Whiddon's brasserie menu of "New American small plates, melding international flavors and classic Southern ingredients," includes charcuterie; French fries; crudo; chicken-and-dumplings and pulled pork steam buns, a nod to the owners' San Francisco heritage.

Although Union Provisions has just 75 wines on its bottle list, its wine wall is anchored by a display case that can accommodate almost four times as many labels. The drinks selection also includes 15 wines offered by the glass; draft beer and cocktails.

Union Provisions is located at 513 King St. For more information, call 641-0821. The restaurant's website will go live on opening day.
