A convicted peeping Tom was arrested again Wednesday, according to Mount Pleasant police.
Corwin Maurice Alston, 35, of Rosa Green Road in Awendaw was trying to get into occupied houses in Charleston National, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-offense peeping Tom and second-degree burglary. Alston also was charged with failing to register as a sex offender.
He has been convicted of being a peeping Tom twice before - once in March 2010 and again in September 2013 - although both were listed as first offenses, according to the State Law Enforcement Division's sex offender registry.
Alston was being held in the Charleston County jail Wednesday.
