Temperatures will heat up around the Lowcountry this week with highs reaching the low 90s, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service.
The expected high on Tuesday is predicted to reach 88, but is likely to reach 91 by Wednesday.
There's a slight chance of rain Wednesday afternoon. The chance increases to 40 percent for Thursday.
A possibility of rain remains in place through the weekend.
