When deputies were called to a Dorchester County home on the Fourth of July for a reported fight, they commanded everyone inside to exit the Cedar Grove home, according to officials.
When 30-year-old Antwan Persay Black walked out of the duplex, his clothes were soaked with blood, according an incident report.
Inside investigators found a silver revolver and the body of 43-year-old Anthony Eugene, who had been shot to death, according to authorities.
Black, who lived in the home, was arrested and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime on Saturday, according to the report.
Investigators have not yet explained what sparked the shooting.
Monday afternoon, Black remained in custody at the Dorchester County Detention Center.
