There was a lot of build-up but not much delivery for "Reckless," at least in terms of ratings.
Around 4 million viewers tuned in for the Sunday premiere of the sultry CBS legal drama set and filmed in Charleston, down from the nearly 6 million who watched "Big Brother" on CBS an hour before. "Reckless" received a 0.7 in the key 18-49 demographic, finishing in fourth for the 9 p.m. time slot, according to preliminary Nielsen ratings.
"Reckless" did fare better than "Southern Charm," the other show set in Charleston that just finished it's first season. That show's Monday night debut in March drew 983,000 viewers and pulled a 0.5 Nielsen rating in the 18-49 age bracket. But the reality show aired on Bravo, not a major network.
"Reckless" stars Anna Wood and Cam Gigandet as dueling attorneys who stumble upon a scandal that could rip apart Charleston society.
