South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley was presented with a semiautomatic rifle Monday at an Horry County gun manufacturing plant, according to a story posted on The Sun News of Myrtle Beach's website.
PTR moved to Horry County from Connecticut because lawmakers in that state passed stricter gun control laws after the Sandy Hook School shootings.
PTF vice president John McNamara said the company developed the commemorative gun as a way to give something back to South Carolina.
