LAMAR - Firefighters say a blaze at a warehouse near Lamar has destroyed nearly 2,000 bales of hay.
Officials say the hay burned in the fire Thursday was valued at more than $150,000.
Lamar police say three boys, ages 11, 12 and 13, have been arrested and charged with arson and burglary. Police Chief Charles Woodle says the boys had been playing basketball near the warehouse and investigators think they slipped inside and started the fire. The boys' names have not been released. Woodle says they've been released to their parents
Darlington County Fire District Chief Kenney Stratton says the fire will probably burn for days.
The warehouse was once used to manufacture mobile homes.
