A Moncks Corner man was arrested Friday after drug agents said they found almost seven ounces of cocaine, $10,000 and a pistol at his house.
Curtis Lennard Smith, 43, of Longridge Road was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine base and distributing cocaine base, unlawful possession of a pistol and felon in possession of a pistol, Berkeley County Sheriff's Office spokesman Dan Moon said.
Drug agents with the sheriff's office carried out a search warrant at Smith's house and said they found 193 grams of cocaine (6.8 ounces), about a gram of cocaine base, $10,000 in cash and a .40-caliber Glock pistol.
Smith was being held at the Berkeley County jail.
