A duo of former Charleston RiverDogs stars were tabbed to the rosters for the 2014 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game.
Right-handed pitcher Luis Severino and catcher/infielder/outfielder Peter O'Brien were named as the New York Yankees selections for the game to be played at 5 p.m. July 13 at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minn.
Severino was recently promoted to High-A Tampa after spending the first half of the season with the RiverDogs. He also spent part of 2013 with Charleston.
O'Brien was a RiverDog for the entire first half of 2013 before a mid-season promotion to High-A Tampa.
