A 19-year-old man injured last week in a motorcycle wreck has died, a funeral home confirmed Monday.
Cody Wayne Ramsey Houser, of Mount Pleasant, died Thursday after being treated at Medical University Hospital for critical injuries. He was a student at Trident Technical College and a Firestone employee, an obituary said.
Houser died after wrecking his motorcycle Thursday on U.S. Highway 17. He had been traveling north on the highway near Old Georgetown Road when his motorcycle struck a curb and left the side of the road, Mount Pleasant police reported.
He was wearing a helmet, police said.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Stuhr's Mount Pleasant Chapel, according to the obituary.
