Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, a 2016 Republican presidential hopeful, will be in South Carolina Saturday to stump for Columbia businessman Mike Campbell, a GOP candidate for lieutenant governor, according to a story posted at TheState.com
Locations and times are being scheduled, the story said.
Huckabee endorsed the son of the late Gov. Carroll Campbell during an Upstate stop in May before Huckabee visited with pastors in Greenville as part of his presidential bid exploration, the story said.
Mike Campbell headed Huckabee's 2008 GOP presidential bid when Huckabee finished second to U.S. Sen. John McCain. Campbell faces top vote getter Henry McMaster in Tuesday's runoff.
