A 19-year-old man is in the hospital after he was injured while riding a motorcycle in Mount Pleasant overnight, according to police.
Cody Ramsey, of Mount Pleasant was transported to Medical University hospital in critical condition at around 2 a.m. Thursday.
Ramsey was still in critical condition Thursday at around 11 a.m., according to hospital officials.
Ramsey was traveling north on Highway 17 near Old Georgetown Road on a motorcycle when he struck the curb on the left side of the road, according to police.
Ramsey was wearing a helmet, police said. The incident is under investigation.
