Shoppers in search of steep discounts at the Piggly Wiggly warehouse in Jedburg are reporting long lines that are taking hours to get through.
The chain recently announced it was offering discounts as high as 70 percent over the next three days, igniting a flurry of excitement on social media.
Some of that excitement tempered today when shoppers reported a line of cars more than a mile long and a wait of two hours or more just to get inside. See some of their comments and photos on our Facebook page.
We'll continue to track the events online today using social media. If you have a photo or video, send it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Be safe out there!
