Charleston firefighters put out a small fire Wednesday on King Street, according to fire officials.
Firefighters were called to the area near 298 King St. for a possible fire at around 1:30 p.m.
When crews arrived, they saw light smoke near the roof of the structure.
Firefighters put out the small fire on the roof and authorities reopened King Street at around 1:50 p.m., according to authorities.
