Wow. What a sendoff.
Last week we asked you for photos that embodied 'My Charleston' to wrap the My Charleston magazine submission period and you responded in a big way: so many beautiful pictures of so many parts of our beautiful home.
We challenge you to look through them all and pick a favorite because it wasn't easy. In the end the editors chose Brent Paape's paddle board picture from Shem Creek. Great shot. We also saw quite a few that we'd like to use for the magazine, which comes out in August. We're still sorting through them all but stay tuned.
Next week's assignment: Shady spots. Be creative.
- Send just one (1) photograph to firstname.lastname@example.org by noon on Tuesday, June 24. Include your name, town and where the photo was taken. If you send us multiple photos we will select one randomly.
- We will allow photographs with reasonable watermarks to run in the gallery but for the winning photo that runs in the newspaper we must have a photo that does not have a watermark. If you want to send us one with the watermark (to run online) and one without (to possibly run in the newspaper) please feel free.
