North Charleston City Gallery Exhibit: Works by Alvin Staley & DeWayne Sykes

What: Concurrent solo art exhibits at the City Gallery: Alvin Staley presents "Icons & Images: Christian Metaphors," a collection of work that expresses his Christian beliefs, concerns, doctrines and fascination with the souls of people. In "Carolina Soul," DeWayne Sykes displays works influenced by his Lowcountry heritage, religious inspiration and cherished childhood stories created through a technique called pyrography.
