Temperatures are expected to get hotter this week around the Lowcountry just in time for the official start of summer, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service.
Temperatures are expected to reach 92 degrees Saturday, the day of the summer solstice.
This week, little to no rain is likely and temperatures in the high 80s before they're expected to reach the 90s this weekend.
There may be some patchy fog on Tuesday morning, but otherwise the rest of the day and week look to be clear.
