A slight chance of rain and storms will linger for the Lowcountry throughout the weekend, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service.
A 20 percent chance will remain in place Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Heavy rain and downed trees were reported In Summerville early Friday evening.
High temperatures are expected to reach around 87 and low temperatures likely won't drop below 74.
Forecasters are predicting sunny skies during the day next week and cloudy nights.
