The man accused of exposing himself to two young girls near the West Ashley Wal-Mart toy aisle has been arrested, Charleston police report.

Shon Hilton, 37, of Ashley River Road, is charged with two counts of third-degree assault and battery in connection with the incident, Charleston police spokesman Charles Francis said.

According to police, Hilton followed two girls while they wandered through the Wal-Mart store at 3951 West Ashley Circle, around 7 p.m. Monday.

He walked back and forth between the aisles, police said, then exposed himself near the toys.

He then walked out of the store's garden area and fled in a white pickup truck, police said.

Hilton was being in the Charleston County jail on $2,184 bail Friday.
