The stifling South Carolina heat is upon us, but at least most of the primary battles have been settled.
And while Gov. Nikki Haley and U.S. Sen. Tim Scott had declined to issue outright endorsements of Sen. Lindsey Graham during the primary, the trio made nice Wednesday.
The three GOP leaders held a presser at the Governor's Mansion to illustrate their united front heading toward the November election season.
Smiles were everywhere as the group all are considered heavy favorites to win re-election.
While the post-primary hangover is soon to go away, Haley still has one bit of lingering work to take care of before the Legislature returns to finish up business Tuesday.
Her vetoes of lawmaker spending and action are expected to be released soon in advance of lawmakers coming back to Columbia.
