A Charleston man was arrested Wednesday after witnesses said he pointed two guns at them during an argument in North Charleston.
Chavelle Edward Warthaw, 25, was charged with two counts of pointing and presenting a firearm, two counts of unlawful possession of a pistol and possession of a stolen pistol.
Court records list his address as West Sherwood Drive.
North Charleston police were called to Corley Drive at 6:12 p.m., according to the incident report. A man and woman said Warthaw pointed two guns at them during an argument.
Officers said they found two loaded guns in the trunk of a car in which Warthaw was a passenger. One was a Ruger LCR and the other a Glock 30sf. The Glock turned out to be stolen, according to the report.
Warthaw was being held in the Charleston County jail Thursday on $50,000 bail.
