While voters throughout the state were casting their primary ballots today, U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham told reporters
he is confident he'll win the Republican nomination without having to face a runoff, according to a "Washintgon Wire" blog post on the Wall Street Journal's website, blogs.wsj.com.
Graham cited internal polls that put him above the 50% threshold to win the contest outright, according to the post.
The remarks came after Graham appeared with S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley and fellow U.S. Sen. Tim Scott for an announcement of expansion at the General Electic Co.'s plant in Greenville.
