A technology company specializing in strategic marketing for high-growth businesses will expand and add about 200 jobs in Lancaster County.
Red Ventures, headquartered in Indian Land near Charlotte, will grow by 180,000 square feet in its second expansion since setting up shop in South Carolina in 2009.
The company has grown by more than 30 percent each year for the past five years and will have about 2,000 employees between its five offices after the expansion later this year.
The new building addition, a third for the Indian Land campus, is part of the company's other offices in Charlotte and Wilmington, N.C. It will offer similar employee amenities such as an expanded bistro, beer garden, a larger yoga room and a 21-bike spin room.
"I've never been more excited about the future of Red Ventures than I am today," said Ric Elias, CEO of Red Ventures. "This is more than a building; this is Red Ventures putting an 180,000-square-foot stake in the ground for meaningful, long-term growth right here in South Carolina. This is a bet that the best is yet to come. And I truly believe that."
In addition to the growth plans, Red Ventures has purchased more than 100 acres near its company for future use and development.
"The strong partnership between Red Ventures and South Carolina continues to grow as they contribute to our high-tech business community and employ our local talent." Gov. Nikki Haley said.
