DENMARK, S.C. - Three men have been arrested in connection with a bank in Denmark.
State Law Enforcement Division spokesman Thom Berry said Saturday that Leon Amos Jason James, Lewis Garvin and Homer Arthur James each had been charged with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and entering a bank with intent to steal.
Authorities say the trio robbed the Enterprise Bank in Denmark on Thursday, then fled the scene.
Berry says a Bamberg County sheriff's deputy searching an abandoned mobile home near Govan on Friday night flushed the three men from their hiding spot.
The men are expected to have bond hearings Monday, and it wasn't known if they had attorneys.
