What: The Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will celebrate the 70th anniversary of D-Day with a symposium on board the USS YORKTOWN. Guest speakers who were on board the USS LAFFEY during the attack will share their memories of the invasion of Normandy. The USS LAFFEY, docked at Patriots Point, is one of only two D-Day warships still in existence. The symposium will also feature live entertainment and a living history production on the D-Day invasion and the breakout from Omaha Beach.
