Charleston police have released a sketch of a man they say held up a downtown convenience store Saturday afternoon.

A man with a black handgun robbed the Stop-N-Go at 12 Hagood Ave. about 1:30 p.m., according to police.

He is described as a dark-skinned black man between 20 and 27 years old, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing between 140 and 150 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call police dispatch at 743-7200 and ask for the on-call detective or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
