Clemson's pipeline to Florida for flashy athletes produced another commitment Friday afternoon in wide receiver Deon Cain (6-1, 190) of Tampa.
Cain narrowed his list to Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and LSU and made his announcement during a ceremony at his school.
Clemson offered Cain last December. He visited earlier this year, and from that point Clemson became a major factor with him.
Cain also plays quarterback, and last season he passed for nearly 2,000 yards and 13 touchdowns while rushing for over 700 yards and four scores.
Cain is Clemson's 16th commitment for the 2015 class, and the Tigers are expected to add No. 17 on Saturday in defensive end LaSamuel Davis of Bamberg-Ehrhardt.

Charleston Southern junior MeMe Jean earned an 11th-place finish in the 100-meter hurdle prelims to advance to the semifinals of the NCAA East Regional in Jacksonville, Fla.
Jean will run in the 100-hurdles semis on Saturday, needing a top-12 finish to advance to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Ore., on June 11-14.
Jean delivered one of her best performances of the season with a time of 13.30 seconds. Jean's time was just .05 off the top finish in her heat and 0.40 seconds off Florida's Bridgette Owens' overall first-place showing.
