Florida pulled off a splendid version of the 'ol hidden ball trick against the College of Charleston in an NCAA baseball tournament game Friday night in Gainesville.
While Gators pitcher Logan Shore pretended to tie his shoe away from the mound, the Cougars' Nick Pappas stepped off second base not knowing shortstop Richie Martin had the ball.
The play made the "SportsCenter" top 10 Saturday.
But the last laugh was best: The College of Charleston, a No. 4 seed, held on to a 3-2 victory over host Florida, the No. 2 national seed.
