Two wrecks in Mount Pleasant slowed rush-hour traffic Tuesday afternoon.
There were two lanes closed, one northbound and one soundbound, on Highway 17 near Six Mile Road. Around 5:20 p.m., Mount Pleasant police said the Six Mile Road crashes had been cleared and all lanes reopened. The lanes were first reported shut around 4:30 p.m.
Police were also working to clear another wreck on Highway 17 North at Long Point Road. There were injuries in the wreck, but it was unclear how many people were hurt. As of 5:25 p.m., there was no update on the crash.
