U.S. Rep. James Clyburn's car was hit by a DC Metro bus in Washington Wednesday night, according to a report on WCIV-TV Channel 4's website.
According to abcnews4.com, the ABC affiliate in Washington, WJLA-TV, reported that the bus was on its way to Maryland when it passed Clyburn's car, hitting the open driver's door. The accident happened at 16th Street and Sumner Row in the northwest part of the city, according to the report.
Officials in Clyburn's office said the congressman was not injured in the accident.
