Charleston police identified the man they arrested after a fatal shooting early Thursday morning.
Brandon Rashard Marshall, 21, of Woodlawn Avenue in North Charleston, is charged with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
Charleston police responded to 9 Wilson St., Apartment B, about 2:46 a.m. Thursday, spokesman Charles Francis said.
Francis said the suspect and the victim were arguing and the man was shot.
Charleston County Chief Deputy Coroner Bobbi Jo O'neal identified Anthony Williams, 23, of Charleston, as the victim. Williams died from multiple gunshot wounds, she said.
