A Berkeley County man and woman were arrested after police said they found materials to make methamphetamine after their vehicle crashed in Orangeburg County Tuesday night.
Ricky Dewayne Johnson, 28, of Linden Street in Moncks Corner and Kristi Nicole Gladstone, 23, of E. 3rd N. St. in Summerville, were charged with manufacture of methamphetamine.
They crashed their vehicle in Santee after fleeing a state police traffic stop at Interstate 95 and S.C. Highway 301 just before 7 p.m. Tuesday, according to the sheriff's office.
