CLEMSON - The ACC announced game times and TV assignments Tuesday for the first three weeks of the 2014 college football season, plus midweek games through the remainder of the fall.
Clemson's Death Valley opener against South Carolina State will kickoff Sept. 6 at 12:30 p.m. on the ACC Network. The Tigers' only Thursday night game this fall, Nov. 6 at Wake Forest, starts at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
Meanwhile, defending national champion Florida State, one week after taking on Oklahoma State at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, welcomes The Citadel at 7:30 p.m. on regional sports networks. The Citadel last faced the Seminoles in 2005, and the Bulldogs are 0-5-1 against FSU all-time - the teams played to a scoreless tie in 1960.
Clemson doesn't yet know when Georgia will host the rematch of last year's network primetime showdown - which the Tigers won 38-35 at Memorial Stadium - as it is hosted in an SEC stadium. The SEC will release information on those games at a later date.
