Authorities in Berkeley County are trying to identify a person of interest in a shooting that took place last month, according to sheriff's officials.
A man was wounded and four vehicles were damaged by gunfire in an apartment complex on Swift Boulevard on May 8, according to authorities. The area is off North Rhett Avenue near Goose Creek.
Deputies found a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound in one of the apartments, according to the incident report. Investigators also found several spent shell casings, according to the report.
Deputies released surveillance camera images Monday of a man described as a person of interest in the investigation.
