-The 18th annual Sitting on Chrome Auto Club car and truck show will be 2-8 p.m. at 4401 Piggly Wiggly Drive in North Charleston. Admission is $4 for spectators. Vehicle registration is $15 for club members and $20 for non-members.

-Lowcountry Muscle Car and Sam's Club are hosting the 2014 "Miracle Cruise-in" Auto Show to benefit local children in need via MUSC and the Children's Miracle Network. The show will be 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Sam's Club parking lot at 4900 Centre Pointe Drive in North Charleston. -The Joint Base Charleston Armed Forces Day Car Show will take place 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Short Stay Recreational Area in Moncks Corner. Trophies will be awarded in 26 classes. -The second installment in the 22nd annual Lowcountry Shine & Swapp - Anything on Wheels 2014 will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Coastal Carolina Flea Market in Ladson. The show, which used to be once or twice a year, is being billed as the region's first-ever quarterly event series for those who enjoy browsing classic vehicles and auto parts. Admission is free and the venue is open to all makes and models. Top 10 and Managers Choice trophies will be awarded by popular vote. Donations are encouraged to support the local Camp Happy Days charity for "Kids Kicking Cancer." There will be music by DJ Dave Szeszko and a riding toy show for hobbyist children and other youngsters.

-Sea Islands Cars and Coffee will take place 8-10 a.m. at Freshfields Village, located at the crossroads of Kiawah, Seabrook and Johns islands. The monthly cruise-in will feature antiques, classics, exotics, concepts and "any other cool cars." The event is free; coffee and other refreshments for purchase will be supplied by Java Java. -The International Honda CBX Owners Association will sponsor a Rally and Motorcycle Show in Mount Pleasant. Rides will be held throughout the Lowcountry on Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning culminating in a motorcycle show on Saturday afternoon. The rides and the show are open to all makes and years of motorcycles. The host hotel is the Clarion Inn in Mount Pleasant. Most activities originate from there. -Bessinger's Bar-B-Q will host an Open Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show 6-9 p.m. at the restaurant, 1602 Savannah Highway. Registration is $5. -The 19th Raleigh Classic car display and auction will take place at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Road in Raleigh, in the Jim Graham and Exposition buildings. More than 300 cars will be up for sale. Among them will be 1957 Cadillac convertible and 1953 Cadillac Series 62 convertible show cars, 1959 Ford Galaxie Retractable and 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 LS-6. AMC Rambler, Buick, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Datsun- Nissan, Dodge, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, Mercury, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, Pontiac, Studebaker and other Ford, Chevrolet and Cadillac models will be auctioned. Bidders' fee is $50. General admission (free to bidders) is $10 a day or $15 for a two-day pass. Children are $5 a day or $7 for a two-day pass. Preview showing will be held 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 8-9:30 a.m. Friday. The auction will start at 9:30 a.m. Friday and will take place 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday. -The 2014 AMO (American Motors Owners association) International Convention will be held at InnPlace Hotel & Conference Center in North Charleston. The four-day event, hosted by Carolina AMC, will celebrate 60 years of AMC 1954-2014. Brands include Nash, Hudson, Rambler, AMC, Jeep, Renault and Eagle. -A classic car show and BBQ will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at St. Andrew's Parish United Methodist Church, 3225 Ashley River Road in Charleston.
