SENECA, S.C. - An Oconee County animal rescue group is asking for help to save a dog that got its head stuck in a segment of an air conditioning duct pipe.
Upstate Animal Rescue spokesman Kelly Blair says the dog can't eat or drink with the pipe clamped around its head. She says the dog refuses to let anyone get near it to help, so she is hoping someone who is trained to use a tranquilizer gun can help them.
Blair says people frequently abandon their pets with no food or water in the area where the dog was found.
