A Conway man has pleaded guilty to attempted armed robbery in the 2009 shooting death of a Myrtle Beach man.
Christopher Lee McDonald, 30, pleaded guilty this week in exchange for prosecutors dropping other charges, including murder, kidnapping and burglary.
Circuit Judge George James sentenced McDonald to eight years in prison.
Twenty-year-old Antonio Grate was shot to death during a home invasion at an apartment in Myrtle Beach.
Two other men have pleaded guilty to charges in the case. Alex Antwain Graham, 25, was sentenced to 17 years in prison in November for a voluntary manslaughter plea. Antoine Staffon Days, 24, pleaded guilty armed robbery in January and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Lorenzo Herion, 22, is serving a 21-year prison sentenced on a voluntary manslaughter plea.
