With sold out audiences in Chicago and New York and a hit run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, "50 Shades! The Musical" is an original parody that is premiering locally this week. The "Fifty Shades of Grey" trilogy has shattered sales records around the globe with more than 32 million copies sold in the U.S. alone and a 2015 feature film planned that's already started filming. Through their interpretation of the novel, the audience is taken through the best-seller, complete with dance numbers, 11 original songs and a live backing band. This show is for ages 18 and up.
When: Friday, doors open at 7 p.m. with the show starting at 8 p.m.
Where: North Charleston Performing Arts Center, 5001 Coliseum Drive
