Bishop England's baseball team faces elimination from the Class AA Lower State playoffs after a 7-2 loss at Loris on Monday night.
The Bishops (13-15) will host Wade Hampton in an elimination game Wednesday. Wade Hampton knocked out Dillon, 7-1 on Monday and lost by 6-3 at Bishop England on Saturday.
Pitcher Tanner Chock got the win for Loris (18-8), which overcame five errors to stay in the winners' bracket of the Lower State tournament. Edward Bolchoz took the loss for the Bishops, who had as many errors (three) as hits.
Tanner Cox, Bryson Daniels and Stacy Dozier all drove in runs for Loris, which scored five runs in the sixth inning. Kolin Causey had a double and a stolen base and scored twice.
Ryan McManus drove in a run for the Bishops. Griffin Herbert stole two bases and scored a run, and Harrison Boals had a hit and a run scored.
